Young Executives

Ages: 8 - 11 and 12 - 14
Program Start: TBD

Students will be given real life problems or they will come up with real life problems concerning our community, in regard to social, cultural, economic and environmental issues, and they will be tasked to create optimal solutions.  The teams that will have the best solutions will be partnered with university students and will implement their ideas. All children, who submitted ideas will participate to the program. A Temporary company/organization will be created for them where students will hold important positions (with the supervision of their university student partners). During the project students will learn project management, leadership, problem solving skills. They will also learn from their mistakes during the projects. University students will offer guidance and advice, however, the final decision will be up to the team. If they make mistakes, this will provide them a valuable opportunity to learn from their mistakes. And once they realize it won’t work, university students will guide them towards a better solution.
